Ok I found a bug on slower pc's

i was able to replicate the bug  on my pc by turning performance down to minimum.apparently the lag required is far less than the one on your recording

in the making of video he had the same thing happen at really good performance.  I'm assuming he fixed it, just not fully.

i cant bit 9 .

i have 156

nananananananananana

i beat both

(+2)

Sam quick note: calling Application.quit on WebGL makes Unity commit die. Great game btw, reminds me of this one

(1 edit) (+2)

I freacking did it

I love the concept... Great done

yet again no apple

I had so much fun with this game! I liked figuring out how to do things and problem solving in general, it's really neat! I managed to beat the whole game, but I'd like to see some more levels be added too, if you're able to do that one day. Nice game dev!

WHAT

(+3)

I had fun with #15. It's possible to both Win that level and also crash the game in one move... It depends on ur luck what happens

(+1)

level 15 crashed on me again-

(+1)

lvl 8 is so hard

(+3)

I got level 15 to load... This is my life now

I went through the hole at the bottom... Yea oops.

(+1)

That's my life too

Pros and cons are down below) Check out my vid here (likes and subs are highly appreciated)):

Advantages:

I love the concept! It's so interesting and unlike anything I've ever seen before! I love the puzzles you came up with - they were fun to solve and very brain-breaking as well ahah. The puzzles were simply amazing! It felt very satisfying to solve them, though sometimes I would find the solution by luck and then my brain would literally switch off trying to understand what had just happened ahah.

Disadvantages:

1. Some moments were frustrating because it seemed that the square was jumping differently in different levels (though I'm not sure). Each time I felt like I started to predict where the square would land and finished the level, it felt like I had to learn over again. Don't know why. Hope you understand what I'm talking about. That was a bit frustrating.

2. The game is cool as is but it would be so cool if it would have a story and lore. Maybe some 4th wall breaking as well? I think a good example of a puzzle indie game with interesting story is a game called dreader (https://donitz.itch.io/dreader). Maybe this will inspire you to make something bigger out of this cool concept.

3. I also didn't like how background music would abruptly stop at some points.

Overall:

I think that the concept is incredible! I believe that if you'd come up with an interesting plot or, as I've already mentioned before, 4th wall breaking - the game could become legen - wait for it - dary! It has so much potential! I rate it 5/5 as is because this experience definitely deserves the highest rating possible but I hope that you'll continue developing the concept further and make this puzzle game into something bigger!

Hope my feedback was useful!

(+1)

Not trying to be rude, but I don't really think that lore or a story would benifit this type of game. Other than that, I agree with you!

(+1)

Lots of great points, thank you so much for the feedback!

Possible to do level 16 in 3 moves, hard, but possible.

(1 edit) (+1)

Genius! I can't manage to get it to bounce back from the inside and land precisely on the edge, but 4 steps is still a lot lower than the limit

Did you manage to figure out if level 10 is possible to do in 3?

(+1)

have done it in 4, it's the only level I don't have blue on which kinda annoys me

the game is hard

Level 16 in  4 shots

yum pizza i like this gamre

(+1)

ah yes, hitboxes

(+1)

LOL

Very inventive, although the cube keeps bouncing around and the actual launching is very easy to over/undershoot.

yes

dis is very fun da puzels ez but the movement hard

(+1)

I cant pass level 15!! :(

(1 edit)

you have to manage to get the cube out, then get it back in with all other parralel cubes

(1 edit) (+1)

i was just casually playing on I think level 15 and my ENTIRE SCREEN blacked out and then the game crashed. ?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Other than that it is a pretty good game.

I Absolutely Loved this game same even though you made me want to die on the inside by level 16!

i think we've reached terminal velocity bois

(1 edit) (+1)

There are great bones on this game and I think you should keep refining it. There were quite a few fiddly, frustrating interactions. For instance, I had a lot of problems with the 'lip' some of the portal holes have.

I really like that while I couldn't quite understand the totality of the mechanic, the design of the levels let me 'feel' its character in each scenario. Again, really cool stuff! Looking forward to more from you.

I am stuck on level 10. but I mean this game is confusing... AND I LOVE IT!

its pretty easy

I realized what I had to do you are right lma

im stuck on level 10 as well and I agree its awesome

oops I mean 11

(+1)

Congrats! You made a parkour/rage game not a puzzle one!

(+1)

Level 15 is very laggy!

That's a lot of games

I watch the youtube video for this game so I thought "I just had to try this!" This is also one of the first games I've played made by a youtuber!

The first one I played made by a youtuber was Stick With It.

which made this game!

same person.

I love the game! It contains many great puzzles! Here are my thoughts.

-The art style: It's simplistic, which is great for this type of concept. If it was more complex, it would distract from the gameplay, so the art is perfect!

-The idea: I have literally never seen such a great idea!! Never ending shapes have always been fascinating to me, so seeing something like this always brings me joy. I've tried to find games like this, but this concept is 100% unique!

-The puzzles: Oh my gosh! I love the puzzles! They are difficult and fun at the same time, something even AAA developers struggle to do!

-Movement: One gripe I have is the movement. It can feel so hard to position yourself at times, but overall good.

I give it a 10/10!!

But, levels like the last one really can be frustrating, so that is the only downfall I see. I love your videos and games Sam!

Thank you so much! I totally agree, movement definitely needs a lot of work

Oh you actually responded thank you love your games and videos.

there was  a level that broke my gam

the last level crashed my game :/

Love the recursion concept! (Which can be a nightmare for a programmer too.) The shape sizing part reminds me of a few Superliminal levels. My only complain is the control which landing point is a bit unpredictable.

Also if you don't mind I found a bug in level 12 where square will unreasonably duplicate itself. XD

The duplication is "intended".
It follows the game logic:
As soon as your square leaves the "main" ("n") box, he appears in smaller versions above the 2 "n-1" boxes.

So when your square comes back it's actually the two squares from the smaller boxes at the exact same position.

So yes. 2 squares
