hey i think you should make another game that builds of this one in that you are trying to go back and you find something that the narrator don't want you to find.
well i managed to push myself out of the level and fall out of the world on the second moving platform level but i dont think that was supposed to happen
I decided to jump back into the game and managed to get all 4 boxes to the end. I had to try it myself since I noticed a lot of people talking about getting all 4 boxes to the end. It wasn't as hard as I expected it to be, but I did glitch one of the boxes out of the map followed by me glitching out of the map on my first attempt off screen. That wasn't supposed to happen...
The true goal is to get all 4 boxes to the end. Getting both of the first two to the end is somewhat tricky. No script change but made for a fun replay which was cool.
I think I got myself softlocked on the part with three buttons and a door after going through the door prior without a cube. Is there any way to get out of this situation without restarting the level?
Also an option for toggling the mouse sensitivity would've been awesome. Still this is a great, fun little game with loads of potential and I imagine speedrunning this could be a lot of fun!
The sound effects were just atrocious. They didn't seem to fit at all, especially the "button" sound effect. The voice-over was also very patronising, with un-funny remarks. Overall the sound effect just seemed rushed, and seemed like a last minute feature you added to the game.
On the same line as sound effects, why did the voice over talk about "portal" so much? I know it inspired you, but, the game is nothing like portal with totally different play mechanics etc... not all they players who might play your game will know about the "portal" franchise. So again, it just seems like filler dialogue you added to the game, which in my opinion is defiantly NOT needed. and just makes your game seem very sloppy.
I don't know if this is something I personally just experienced, or if it is something only Mac users experience. But when looking around it is way to sensitive. I found myself, quite often, having to turn around multiple times, just to pick up a box. If this is a "meant to be, purposely added" feature (making the looking around way to sensitive) it is just inadequate and makes certain areas, un-playable.
I know the game is all about bugs, but, there are so many un- intentional bugs. Too many to name (PM me if you want to know). These occur on different browsers, different computers (Linux, Mac, Pc). Its just sloppy again, and things you could easily fix if you took the time to test play your game even once before uploading it.
The glitch texture when you are preforming "intentional" bugs, gets very receptive & annoying. It even gave one of my friends who test played the game a migraine.
The textures are very bland. There is also glitches in the last room with the wall. Look at free textures you can download, there are some interesting ones that could have fit this game.
Overall quite a good game considering it took you 9hrs to complete, but there are 100% things you should sort out (mentioned above)
The sound effects are completely fine to me, I like them. Also I enjoy the dialogue, I doubt it's just filler. Some of the dialogue are just hints to what you need to do, or just fun and humorous chat.
On the level where the platforms move back and forth between the 2 dividing walls, if you walk to the left side and sit where one of the platforms goes, it will push you out of the map and into the endless void. :)
I had the same idea. I tried making a speedrun.com entry for the game but my account is not 7 days old :(. If someone else could create it that would be great. I'm thinking it should have 3 runs, this, Box% (Must reach last dialogue with all 4 boxes), and Void% (Ends when you fall into the void). I would really appreciate it if someone could add this to speedrun.com!
This has some funky behaviour when run under Linux with Wine, specifically, as soon as you defocus the game (which happens quite easily for me because I have two monitors), it will stop responding to inputs.
I saw "The E" at the end before I managed to get my mouse on the other screen again, and managed to get every single cube there. I hope that counts as a win.

you found a bug/glitch he was not meaning to add, congrats
bad ending, here's what happens if you wait for a few minutes in the void, precision errors occur

you're welcome!

thanks for the idea!
how did you get 2 blocks through the clip wall with the moving boxes level?
how did you get 2 blocks through the clip through the wall with the moving boxes?
push them with yourself and the moving block
how do you get the 2 first blocks past the clip through wall with moving boxes?
i can get 3 boxes through this door but how to you do the rest?
i used all boxes to get one to the end. Then i took a box, paused while holding, then pushed them while paused
or do that while speed running, actually that might be impossible
While holding a block, pause the game while moving. The block being held will fly in the direction you were moving in.
wHy ArE tHeRe So MaNy GlitChEs iN yOur gamE

Nice game, great job !
Cool game, came here after seeing the youtube vid. Love how there are more than one way to solve each of the puzzles. Good job!

bring 2 or all the boxes with you
Yeah, bring the boxes. Also you can try to get all 4 boxes, quite fun challenge.
i found a way to lower the sensitivity ,just make the zoom smaller(if that makes sense)
cool game, but I hope there will be a Mac edition
mac no longer supports 64x games so no itch.io game will be play able for mac users!
wrong, mac os supports only x64 builds, x86(32 bits) support was dropped. I also am a mac user and I really want to try this game.
A lot of bugs that need to fixed, first of all I could glitch the walls and it wouldnt let me proceed unless I did that, tsk tsk..
Decided to give speedrunning it a shot, after about half an hour 1:10.9 was my time, Super fun game to run, lots of probably unintentional glitches XD
Video?
Theres a way to go out of bounds?
Quite a few actually, I've accidentally fallen out of bounds a couple of times.
oh i actully found out how to do it!
this is so cool, i enjoyed so much playing it. hope you continue with the games and we continue playing them <3
A few things wrong with this game -
Overall quite a good game considering it took you 9hrs to complete, but there are 100% things you should sort out (mentioned above)
dude this game was made rushed in 3 days
bro, most people enjoy the voice overs aswell your literally complaining you have your sens to high
come on everybody was rushed
T I P:L O O K A T T H E G O O D T H I N G S
The sound effects are completely fine to me, I like them. Also I enjoy the dialogue, I doubt it's just filler. Some of the dialogue are just hints to what you need to do, or just fun and humorous chat.
When he says the sounds effects just seemed rushed to realize that the game was rushed intentionally.
*BIG BRAIN*
There is no need to write a huge review on a game that was literally made in 2 seconds, It was a fun little project all this critique is unneeded.
If you want to make a review of this game you should at least get your fucking grammar right.
i found an unintentional bug you didn't see that coming did you
Can you make the game available for Mac
First person to bring all 4 boxes to the BEGINNING room.
Here's a better angle to show it is the first room.
How do you perform that glitch?
Is there a ceiling anywhere without collision? I was trying a bunch of them and didn't go out of bounds. Would be nice seeing how you did this
the room with 3 platforms you can get pushed through the wall by the first one.
also nice 4th wall break
i found a new thing to speedrun: get all the cubes to the final room, its possible, its stupid
first person to do it
Its fun!!
Love the idea of the game. the games mouse looking sensitivity is to high!
On the level where the platforms move back and forth between the 2 dividing walls, if you walk to the left side and sit where one of the platforms goes, it will push you out of the map and into the endless void. :)
i found a actual glitch where i got pushed through the wall and fell into the void
So both this and your Minecraft clone wont let me adjust my view with the mouse. How do I fix this?
lol this was fun. You should make more games like portal! :)
I randomly decided to give speedrunning this a go, it was lots of fun and as I'm typing this my best time is 1:44.43
Time starts when you click play and end when the final dialogue starts, if you want to give it a try.
I tryed it and I got 2:47.71
I got 1:38:47 till the dialog finally started and about 1:31 or something when I passed the final door with the three plates.
Really like this game
Right now my record is 1:50:34 when the dialog finnaly spoke.
Ok now it is 1:43:39, getting closer.
You using the browser version or the download?
Almost fucking everyone uses the internet version. Why cant they just use the program version. Heck, why is that even an option?
My best so far is 1:30.51
I had the same idea. I tried making a speedrun.com entry for the game but my account is not 7 days old :(. If someone else could create it that would be great. I'm thinking it should have 3 runs, this, Box% (Must reach last dialogue with all 4 boxes), and Void% (Ends when you fall into the void). I would really appreciate it if someone could add this to speedrun.com!
this is Genius
I love your youtube channel lol you are the best and so is this game
it was good 11/10
